Privacy-first, in plain terms
“Privacy-first” is on a lot of app listings these days, ours included. It is a fair question to ask what we actually mean by it — so here it is, in plain terms.
The default is your device
Most of what BituForge makes runs entirely on your device. Your gratitude notes, your photo library, your spending — they stay on your iPhone. There is no account to create, nothing uploaded to a server we run, and no profile of you sitting in a database somewhere. Gratitude keeps every entry on-device. Pursely keeps every figure on-device, with no bank logins. Reposia organises your photos without ever uploading one.
If you want your data on more than one device, that is your call — and where we offer it, sync runs through your own private iCloud account, not ours.
No tracking, no ads, no middlemen
We do not run ads, embed trackers, or sell anything about you, because there is nothing to sell — we never collect it in the first place. The site you are reading uses privacy-friendly analytics with no cookies and no cross-site tracking, which is why there is no cookie banner nagging you.
Written down, not just claimed
The part that matters: every app we host here has a real privacy policy and terms you can read, in plain language, on this site — like Gratitude’s privacy policy. Reposia and Pursely keep theirs on their own sites. No legalese wall, no surprises buried on page nine.
Privacy-first is not a feature we bolt on at the end. It is the starting point — and the reason most of our apps never ask for an account at all. More soon from the forge.
